Veteran Roy Vanasco
The Conservancy extends our deep sympathy with sharing the news of the passing of WWII Veteran Roy Vanasco.
Roy and his brother Jack were longtime community activists andchampions leading the community to reopen the Brooklyn War Memorial. We have so many wonderful memories of their love and meaningful contributions to our park and community. RIP Roy Vanasco, always in our hearts. The Conservancy remembers you with love, respect and an abundance of gratitude.
If you would like to make a donation in honor of Roy Vanasco, we will be planting in his memory, in our Brooklyn Memorial Garden.
