Welcome To The Cadman Park Conservancy
Who We Are
The Cadman Park Conservancy is an all-volunteer community based non-profit (501c3). We work with NYC Parks, volunteer groups, schools and local residents on the care and maintenance of Cadman Plaza Park, Walt Whitman Park, and Korean War Veterans Plaza.
We sponsor cultural events, including theater in the park, and movie nights. Additionally, we advocate for full funding for all necessary Capital parks projects. We are proud supporters of New Yorkers for Parks "Play Fair" campaign.
Support Cadman Park Conservency
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
On behalf of the Cadman Park Conservancy, I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.
During these unprecedented and challenging times, our NYC outdoor spaces like Cadman Plaza Park have provided us all with a refuge, a sanctuary and much-needed relief.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Cadman Plaza Park has experienced the highest surge of daily usage since 1935.
Over the past several years, the Cadman Park Conservancy has worked with the Parks Department to improve the park’s cleanliness, sustainability and community involvement.
While we remain dedicated to the Conservancy’s ongoing commitment to improving the Park, we can’t do it without your support! A donation, no matter how small, to this wonderful neighborhood institution, would be much appreciated and put to good use.
In Friendship and With Gratitude,
President, Cadman Park Conservancy
