CITIBIN!

THANK YOU, Councilmember Lincoln Restler, for securing funding for trash containerization and promoting public health and safety. Lincoln’s office worked with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and CITIBINS to have the bins installed this past week in Cadman. This will eliminate the food supply for the rats from the garbage bags waiting for pickup surrounding the park. The new CITIBINS were installed along the promenade a few months ago and met with tremendous success. The Cadman Park Conservancy is grateful that the next location chosen is Cadman Plaza Park. This proactive approach to an ongoing quality of life issue is greatly appreciated! Thank you to Councilmember Restler and the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation for this significant initiative.
