Thank you to all of our volunteers who planted 4200 daffodil bulbs along the fence of Cadman Plaza Park on Sunday October 17th!  We had a beautiful day and we couldn’t have done it without you!

This year, at the Cadman Park Conservancy annual daffodil planting, we joined our daffodil bulbs with bulbs donated by New Yorkers For Parks for The Daffodil Project. New Yorkers for Parks | The Daffodil Project℠ (ny4p.org)

We planted bulbs along Cadman Plaza West from the Brooklyn War Memorial up to Tillary Street.  The Daffodil Project is in its 20th year and is an ongoing living memorial to the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. This year we also planted in honor and remembrance of those who passed on from Covid.

It was meaningful to have so many members of the community join together for this special day.  We look forward to the spring when the daffodils are amongst the first flowers to bloom!
